Job Summary

The Business Process Management & RPA Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, optimizing, and automating business processes to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience. 
The role bridges business operations and technology by identifying automation opportunities, supporting BPM initiatives, and delivering Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Management (BPM)

•    Analyze end-to-end business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
•    Document current-state (AS-IS) and future-state (TO-BE) processes using BPMN standards
•    Facilitate process workshops with business stakeholders and SMEs
•    Design optimized workflows aligned with operational excellence and compliance requirements
•    Define and track process KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics
•    Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)

Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

•    Identify, assess, and prioritize automation candidates based on ROI, feasibility, and risk
•    Develop detailed process design documents (PDDs) and solution design documents (SDDs)
•    Work closely with RPA developers to translate business requirements into automation logic
•    Participate in RPA solution testing, UAT, and production deployment
•    Monitor bot performance, exceptions, and post-implementation benefits
•    Support bot maintenance, enhancements, and optimization

Stakeholder & Governance

•    Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and automation teams
•    Ensure process and automation designs comply with governance, security, and audit standards
•    Prepare business cases, benefits realization reports, and executive dashboards
•    Support change management, training, and adoption of automated processes

Experience

•    Banking, financial services, or shared services experience
•    7-10 years of experience in Business Process Management, Process Improvement, or Automation
•    Hands-on experience working with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Automate)
•    Experience in documenting processes and requirements in complex operational environments


Technical & Functional Skills

•    RPA lifecycle management (discovery to deployment)
•    Process improvement methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma preferred)
•    Business requirements gathering and functional design
•    Data analysis and KPI tracking (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools)
•    Strong understanding of controls, risk, and compliance (especially in regulated industries)
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
•    Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
•    Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
•    Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
•    RPA Business Analyst or Solution Architect certification
