🔧 Position: Construction Supervisor
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Supervisor to lead offshore construction project. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, technical proficiency, and deep knowledge of offshore oil & gas construction environments.
✅ Qualifications:
Minimum HNC/Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical / Structural or E&I/Telecom disciplines.
🛠️ Experience:
Minimum 12 years in the petroleum/petrochemical construction industry.
At least 6 years in a supervisory capacity.
Offshore project experience with North Oil Company (NOC) is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of NOC’s HSE rules and regulations is essential.
🔨 Key Responsibilities:
🏗️ Construction & Technical:
Oversee fabrication, welding, structural erection, and E&I/Telecom installations.
Supervise scaffolding erection/dismantling and lifting operations.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and QA/QC requirements.
Coordinate construction plant, resources, and subcontractor activities.
Prepare method statements and lessons learned reports.
🛡️ Safety & Compliance:
Enforce strict adherence to Permit to Work (PTW), JSA, and toolbox talks.
Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety.
Ensure compliance with SIMOPS and lead incident investigations.
🔄 Coordination & Interface:
Interface daily with OIM, marine logistics, engineering, and planning teams.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
Support material, equipment, and personnel mobilization.
✅ Quality Assurance:
Ensure offshore construction complies with inspection & test plans (ITPs).
Collaborate with QA/QC inspectors and participate in pre-commissioning and handover.
📋 Reporting & Documentation:
Submit daily progress reports and maintain accurate documentation, redlines, punch lists, and as-builts.
💻 Computer Skills:
Proficient in MS Office 365, AutoCAD, Navisworks / SolidWorks
Working knowledge of Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project
🌐 Language Skills:
Fluent in English (written & spoken) – Mandatory
