Job Summary:
The Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring and operating Building Management Systems (BMS), CCTV systems, fire alarms, access control systems, and other essential building services in real-time. The role ensures the smooth and efficient operation of critical systems and provides prompt responses to alarms, incidents, and service requests in line with FM standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor BMS, fire alarm panels, CCTV, HVAC systems, elevators, and other essential building systems.
Respond promptly to alarms and service calls; coordinate appropriate maintenance or emergency response teams.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs and records of all activities, incidents, and system malfunctions.
Coordinate with engineering, security, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Perform regular system checks to ensure operational readiness and report any anomalies.
Escalate incidents or emergencies as per defined protocols.
Generate reports related to alarms, faults, or daily operations as required by the management.
Follow safety and operational procedures in accordance with company policies and Qatari regulations.
Assist in emergency response coordination, including fire drills, evacuations, and other critical situations.
Ensure compliance with client SLA (Service Level Agreement) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or technical certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field.
4-5 years of experience in a similar role within the FM industry (GCC experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), fire alarm systems, CCTV, and access control systems. Familiarity with CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities
Management) software is an advantage.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be currently in Qatar or able to obtain a Qatar work visa.
Valid QID and NOC are preferred.
