Electrical Technician

Description:

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Perform routine and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and assist in emergency repairs.
• Maintain electrical control circuits, motors, VFDs, UPS systems, and switchboards.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and equipment installation.
• Prepare maintenance reports and spare parts requirements.
• Perform on-call duties and attend emergency breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and electrical standards.

Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering (3 years) or Trade Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years' experience for Diploma holders or 8 years for Trade Certificate holders.
• Experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and industrial equipment.
• Valid Qatar driving license preferred.
• Good English communication skills.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and KAHRAMAA regulations.
