Finance Manager

Description:

The Finance Manager will lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for an FMCG client in Qatar. Responsibilities include compliance, cost control, strategic financial leadership, and ERP management. Prior experience in FMCG and the GCC market is essential.

Scope of Work

• Financial Strategy: Budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, KPI monitoring

• Cost & Margin Control: Costing, pricing, efficiency programs

• Cash & Working Capital: Managing liquidity, inventory cycles, banking relationships

• Reporting & Compliance: Financial statements, audits, Qatar tax compliance

• Risk & Controls: Internal controls, financial risk management

• Business Partnering: Investment and pricing advice, market entry support

• ERP & Systems: ERP integration, data accuracy

• Leadership: Mentoring finance teams and promoting best practices

Experience Required

• Minimum 15 years in finance

• At least 5 years in FMCG sector within Qatar or the GCC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (mandatory)

• Professional certification (CPA, CA, ACCA) preferred

• Knowledge of IFRS and Qatar tax regulations

• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel

• Fluent in English
