Freelance Journalist

Description:

• This is an on-site contract role for a Freelance Journalist at Travel And Tour World located in Doha, Qatar.

• The Freelance Journalist will be responsible for taking video interviews, exchanging business cards, news writing, broadcasting and creating press releases for the magazine.

• It is a 2-day job.

• The journalist will have to take on-site audio/video interviews, write and post articles, attend press conferences & seminars etc. during the show. Qatar Travel Mart is being held at Doha, Qatar.

• Event Dates: 24-26 November 2025

Qualifications:

• Experience in writing press releases, news articles, and conducting research

• Excellent writing and communication skills

• Knowledge of broadcasting and journalism principles

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting

• Proficiency in digital media tools and platforms

• Experience in the travel and tourism industry is preferred

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, Communications, or related field
