Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified and proactive HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a valid Qatar ID (QID) and be able to provide a transferable NOC. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is committed to promoting and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety in a dynamic facilities management environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement HSE strategies and policies across all operational sites, ensuring a culture of safety and compliance at all levels.
-Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comprehensive HSE Plans tailored to each facility’s operational needs.
-Monitor day-to-day health and safety performance, identify potential risks, and implement preventive measures to minimize hazards.
-Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities and recommend necessary improvements.
-Ensure full compliance with national safety laws, ISO standards (such as ISO 45001), OSHA regulations, and other industry-specific guidelines.
-Deliver regular training sessions and safety awareness programs for employees and contractors, covering workplace safety, emergency procedures, and best practices.
-Lead emergency response drills and coordinate evacuation plans, first aid readiness, and fire safety protocols.
-Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, analyze root causes, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive action plans.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, facility managers, and contractors to ensure that all operations are aligned with HSE objectives.

Requirements:

-Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in occupational health and safety, *in facilities management with a focus on high-rise residential and commercial buildings.
-Professional certifications NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent is highly desirable.
-In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, ISO standards, and industry best practices in environmental health and safety.
-Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to influence safe behavior at all organizational levels.
-Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
-Must possess a valid QID and transferable NOC in Qatar.
-Ability to join immediately is preferable.
