Description:
Responsibilities:
- Perform tube fitting, bending, routing, and installation of stainless-steel instrument tubing systems.
- Prepare material, measure accurately, and ensure correct alignment and clamping of tubing.
- Carry out swaging, threading, and tightening procedures as per project specifications.
- Read and work from P&ID, isometrics, and hookup drawings to complete installations.
- Conduct leak checks, pressure tests, and ensure joints comply with quality standards.
- Coordinate with instrument technicians and supervisors to complete tasks safely and on schedule.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and follow all site safety and permit-to-work procedures.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Diploma / Technical Certificate in Mechanical or Instrumentation field.
- 3–5 years of experience in instrument tubing work for oil & gas or industrial facilities.
- Strong knowledge of tube fitting, bending, routing, clamping, and installation of SS tubing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID, isometric drawings, and instrumentation layouts.
- Skilled in using tube benders, swaging tools, cutters, and precision measurement instruments.
- Familiar with safety procedures, job hazard analysis, and safe installation practices.
