It Technical Support Specialist

 

Description:

We are looking for a skilled and service-oriented IT Technical Support professional to join our team at Kempinski Residences & Suites. In this role, you will ensure seamless technology operations that support both our hotel teams and the luxury guest experience.
Responsibilities:
·  Provide first-level IT support and resolve technical issues promptly
· Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, LAN/WAN, and wireless systems
· Support hotel systems including PMS, POS, finance, IPTV, and IP telephony
· Install, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment
· Ensure IT security compliance (OS compliance, PCI DSS)
· Escalate complex issues and collaborate closely with the IT team
· Assist with new system implementations and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements
· Minimum 3 years of IT Support experience, preferably in hospitality
· Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
· Experience with Windows 11 Workstation environments
· Familiarity with hospitality systems such as Opera, Micros, Infor, or similar
· Understanding of IT security best practices
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
· Ability to work independently and within a team
Education & Certifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
· Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, ITIL are a strong plus
