Purchasing Officer

 

Description:

We are hiring an experienced Purchasing Officer with strong knowledge of automotive spare parts and garage operations. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of relevant experience in Qatar or the GCC region and must be ready to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source and purchase automotive spare parts (OEM and aftermarket) as per workshop requirements.
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor stock levels and manage reorders to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate closely with mechanics, service advisors, and storekeepers.
• Maintain proper purchase records and follow company procurement procedures.
• Resolve supplier issues such as delays, returns, and quality concerns.
• Stay up-to-date with new parts, suppliers, and industry trends.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years of experience in purchasing garage parts or automotive procurement.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and spare parts (passenger and commercial vehicles).
• Familiarity with local and international spare parts suppliers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
• Valid QID and transferable visa preferred.
