About the Role:
Spemocean is looking for an experienced QC Piping professional to join a high-profile Oil & Gas EPC project in Qatar. This long-term opportunity allows you to work with one of our leading international clients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the QC Manager with day-to-day quality control activities and documentation.
Coordinate with HSE personnel and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project standards.
Conduct inspections for piping installation, fabrication, and material verification.
Supervise and document NDT, visual, and dimensional inspections.
Participate in hydrostatic and leak testing to ensure piping integrity.
Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and other relevant standards.
Manage and operate the Pipe Tracking System (PTS) during onshore/offshore operations.
Review and prepare test packages, ensuring documentation is complete and approved.
Handle non-conforming pipes, surplus, damaged, or rejected materials as per procedure.
Maintain accurate QC records and reports for client review and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in QC Piping within Oil & Gas EPC projects.
Proven experience with Pipe Tracking System (PTS) operation and data management.
Solid understanding of piping material specifications, color coding, and testing protocols.
Knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO).
Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to mobilize immediately or within a short notice period.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
Valid BOSIET, H2S, ISO 9001:2015, CSWIP/CWI, NEBOSH IGC, and other relevant certifications.
