Rigging Supervisor

Description:

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Rigging Supervisor in Petrochemical / Oil & Gas plants.
Competent in Rigging activities with proven expertise.
Qualified and certified as per Qatar Energy regulation QAREG-01 and approved by STI.
Strong knowledge of safe rigging practices aligned with National/International standards.
Fully fluent in English.

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Ensure all tools, lifting tackles, and equipment are inspected with valid Calibration/Test Certificates (validity not less than 6 months from mobilization date as per "Ready to Use" Certificate).
Maintain availability of all Calibration/Test Certificates at site for inspection by Competent Authorities.
Ensure safe crane marching or heavy mobile equipment movement by assigning riggers in front and rear to avoid accidents.
Coordinate with the Logistics Coordinator for new rigging requirements and additional certification/calibration requirements mandated by Qatar Energy.
Implement and monitor safe rigging practices in line with National/International best practices.
