Senior Accountant

Description:

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in accounting and financial management, preferably within the contracting or construction industry. The candidate should be knowledgeable in financial reporting, project accounting, and day-to-day accounting operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

✅ Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
✅ Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant.
✅ Fluent in Arabic (Arabic-speaking candidates are required).
✅ Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting standards.
✅ Experience in project accounting, job costing, and contract-related financial management is an advantage.
✅ Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
✅ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
✅ Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

📌 Key Responsibilities

✅ Manage and oversee daily accounting transactions and operations.
✅ Prepare financial statements, reports, reconciliations, and accounting schedules.
✅ Monitor project costs, expenses, and financial records.
✅ Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
✅ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing activities.
✅ Ensure accuracy and timely preparation of financial documents.
✅ Coordinate with management and other departments on financial matters.
✅ Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
