Senior Azure Databricks Specialist / Data Architect

Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Azure Databricks Specialist / Data Architect to design, develop, optimize, and govern enterprise-scale data platforms for a leading client.

🔹 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
✅ 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture
✅ 4+ years of strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
✅ Expertise in Apache Spark, PySpark, SQL & Delta Lake
✅ Strong knowledge of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
✅ Hands-on experience with Unity Catalog, Data Governance & Data Lineage
✅ Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) & ADLS Gen2
✅ Enterprise data platform architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines & dimensional modeling
✅ Experience integrating Dynamics 365 CRM / Dataverse, APIs & enterprise applications
✅ Strong knowledge of Spark performance tuning, cluster optimization & cost optimization
✅ Experience with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps & deployment automation
✅ Production troubleshooting, data quality, security & access controls
✅ Experience handling large-scale enterprise datasets

Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional / Associate
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate

🔹 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
✔ Experience in large-scale enterprise or government digital transformation projects
✔ Strong production environment and multi-system integration experience
✔ Ability to independently design, troubleshoot and optimize Databricks solutions
✔ Technical leadership, mentoring and stakeholder management skills
✔ Excellent English communication skills
