Senior Design Coordinator

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to join a major project team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in coordinating design activities, with a strong background in UPDA Grade A projects and consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all design activities between consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
Review and ensure design deliverables comply with project requirements, standards, and regulations.
Facilitate design workshops, meetings, and reviews to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues.
Monitor design progress, track deliverables, and report on design-related risks and opportunities.
Liaise with authorities and ensure submissions meet local regulatory and PWA (Public Works Authority) requirements.

Essential Requirements:
Minimum 15+ years of experience as a Design Coordinator in building/construction projects.
At least 7 years of hands-on UPDA Grade A experience in Qatar.
BSc in Engineering
Building & Consultancy experience is highly preferred.
Previous experience with PWA (Ashghal) Preferred
Strong knowledge of design management processes, BIM coordination, and local authority submissions.
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
