System Administrator

We are looking for a skilled and motivated System Administrator – Server to join our team in Doha, Qatar.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in server administration, Desktop amp; Mobile application support, virtualization, networking, and system troubleshooting. You will be responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing server environments while supporting application deployment and operations.🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Administer and maintain server infrastructure for optimal performance, availability, and security
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective solutions
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
• Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Desktop and Mobile applications
• Perform regular backups and support disaster recovery activities
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures
• Provide technical support and training to end users
• Collaborate with development and technical teams on application and infrastructure requirements
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in system administration
🛠️ Mandatory Skills
• Strong knowledge of Desktop and Mobile applications, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V
• Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
⭐ Preferred Skills
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud platforms• Knowledge of PowerShell and/or Bash scripting
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards• Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning
🎓 Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in system administration/server environments
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Server+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are an advantage
