They are currently looking for an Accountant to immediately join their team in the Retail Sector on a 3-month contract. A great opportunity to gain valuable experience with a prestigious organization in Qatar!

🤵Position : Accountant
📍 Location: Doha, Qatar
💰 Salary: QAR 3,500/month (Full Package)
📅 Contract Duration: 3 Months (Extendable)
🕒 Working Days: 6 days/week
⏰ Working Hours: 9 hours/day

✅ Key Responsibilities:
💼 Daily Tasks:
✔️ Post Goods Received Notes (GRNs), Journal Vouchers (JVs), and customer/vendor invoices
✔️ Prepare credit and debit memos
✔️ Perform daily cash counts and reconcile transactions

📅 Periodic Tasks:
✔️ Process accounts payable (Beauty and Cosmetics – Low Volume)
✔️ Handle bank-related transactions and customer refunds
✔️ Review and reconcile applied discounts on sales
✔️ Assist in preparing Withholding Tax (WHT) returns and quarterly reconciliations
✔️ Verify marketing invoices and prepare monthly reports

💼 Closing & Compliance:
✔️ Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
✔️ Collaborate with auditors and internal finance teams for compliance and accuracy

✅ Qualifications & Experience:
🎓 Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
🔸 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail sector
💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, and QuickBooks
📊 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
⏱️ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
🗣️ Good communication skills in English
