Architect

Description:

The candidate shall have strong background in reviewing, preparing & securing approval for Fire and Life Safety drawings from AHJ.

Requirements:

• Grade A UPDA registered Architect with 5 years minimum Fire & Life Safety work experience in Qatar. (Preferably passed Municipality QCD Exam for Fire & Life Safety.
• Knowledgeable in conventional Architectural Design standards and drafting presentation using AutoCad.
• Well verse in application of the latest NFPA Codes and Standards. (NFPA 101 LSC, NFPA 5000, etc.)
• With knowledge of the latest QCDD (AHJ) requirements and other local / international regulations. (QCD-TRG, Accessibility, Municipality, etc)
• Preferably with good communication skills and working behavior. Can execute fast phased projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Shall be responsible for reviewing architectural designs, provide relevant comments and technical solutions ensuring compliance.
• Shall be able to prepare FLS drawings, compliance reports, fire strategy report and other related submission to authorities.
