Architect - Site Supervision

Description:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Architect to oversee on-site construction activities, ensure design compliance, and maintain quality standards throughout the project. The ideal candidate will act as the key link between the design team, contractors, and management to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
Site inspections and prepare progress reports for management.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues on site.
Verify and approve materials, finishes, and workmanship to ensure high quality and adherence to project standards.
Monitor health, safety, and environmental practices at site to ensure full compliance with regulations.
Manage design modifications, provide solutions for site- related challenges, and update drawings when necessary.
Review and validate shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
Attend site meetings and update management on progress, delays, or risks.
Ensure all work aligns with local building codes, regulations, and company guidelines.
Maintain proper documentation, records, and communication related to the project.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in site supervision (GCC experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and architectural detailing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and other relevant software.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
