Role Description

We are looking for a passionate and talented Bakery Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. This is a full-time, on-site role at Retaj Salwa Resorts & Spa in Abu Nakhlah, Qatar. The Bakery Pastry Chef will play a pivotal role in crafting an array of exquisite pastries, desserts, and baked goods that delight our guests and enhance their experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, maintaining exceptional quality and presentation.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative recipes and seasonal offerings.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Monitor and manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold the highest culinary standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and appearance across all baked items.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or in a similar culinary role.
• In-depth knowledge of various pastries, baking techniques, and decoration methods.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Exceptional creativity and artistic flair in decorating pastries and desserts.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing time and priorities.
• Attention to detail and a genuine passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
