Description:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead installation, commissioning, testing, and calibration of biomedical equipment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Review and evaluate shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation for alignment with project requirements
- Manage service contracts, preventive maintenance schedules, and vendor performance
- Provide training and operational support to clinical and technical staff
Coordinate with architecture, MEP, and design teams for lab and medical systems integration
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety codes, and environmental health standards
- Supervise procurement and inventory of medical/lab equipment
- Provide expert input during design review phases of medical projects
Required Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of specialized biomedical engineering experience
- Proven experience in healthcare/laboratory construction projects
- Familiarity with chemical labs, specialized medical equipment, MEP systems, and lab furniture requirements
- Experience collaborating with design teams and contractors
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for lab design, coordination, and BIM documentation
- Solid knowledge of documentation workflows, equipment calibration, and lab testing
- Experience in SOP development, preventive maintenance planning, and compliance reporting
- Strong analytical and reporting skills focusing on safety, quality, and operational performance
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Based in Qatar or has prior experience in Qatar (mandatory)
