Civil Project Engineer

Description:

Project Execution & Coordination

-Planning, coordinating, and executing civil works in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
-Review IFC drawings and ensure constructability and compliance with (QCS).
-Prepare and review method statements, work programs, and construction sequences.
-Coordinate with local authorities including MMUP/Baladiya, Ashghal, Kahramaa, and QCDD to obtain required approvals.
-Manage authority inspections, respond to comments, and ensure timely closure.
-Review shop drawings, material submittals, and samples for consultant approval.
-Raise RFIs, propose technical solutions, and resolve design conflicts in coordination with consultants and subcontractors.
-Ensure effective coordination between civil, architectural, and MEP disciplines.
-Supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to approved documents.
-Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project milestones.
-Implement QA/QC procedures including ITPs and inspections.
-Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and QCS safety standards.
-Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and as- built documentation.
-Assist in quantity tracking, variation identification, and VO submissions.
-Support interim payment applications and coordination with QS teams.
-Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and risk registers.

Requirements:

Education:

-Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

Experience & Skills:

-Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in Qatar.
-Strong knowledge of QCS.
-Experience in building projects.
-Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office; Primavera P6 knowledge is an advantage.
-Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
