Construction Electrical Engineer

Description:

Plan, execute, monitor , coordinate , procurement , installation ,carryout pre-commissioning,
hand over, commissioning and start up all electrical construction works across QAPCO in
liaison with project management team for a wide range of electrical equipment (control panels,
VSD, power distribution systems and associated MV/LV switch gears , Electric motors ,
transformers , etc. ) in the various plants/sites while acting as a key focal point for all electrical
engineering aspects for the contractors/consultants and monitoring the work conducted in
order to facilitate successful completion of projects as per defined parameters, industry best
practices and contractual agreements.
Minimum Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in discipline Electrical Engineering.
6.2 EXPERIENCE
Minimum Experience for discipline Engineer position:
8 years for engineers of related experience in the assigned field of construction with at least
3 to 8 years of growing supervisory / team leadership responsibilities and exposure to
project management and contractor management.

 Knowledge of the construction in oil/gas/petrochemical plants.
