Corrosion & Cathodic Protection (cp) Engineer

 

Description:

Key Responsibilities:
·  Conduct CP surveys (CIPS, DCVG, PSP, ER, ON/OFF potential measurements).
·  Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain ICCP and SACP systems.
·  Install, retrieve, and analyze corrosion coupons and probes.
·  Evaluate CP system performance and propose corrective actions.
·  Support integrity assessments, pigging data reviews, and anomaly verification.
·  Prepare detailed CP and corrosion monitoring reports.
·  Ensure compliance with NACE, ISO, API, DNV, and other industry standards.

Safety & Compliance:
·  Adhere to company HSE policies and international safety standards.
·  Participate in PTW, toolbox talks, and JSAS.
·  Ensure safe execution of all field activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:
·  Bachelor’s Degree in Corrosion, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or related field.
·  3–5 years of experience in corrosion engineering and CP systems.
·  Strong knowledge of ICCP, SACP, and corrosion monitoring technologies.
·  Preferred certifications: NACE CP Level 2/Level 3, NACE Corrosion Technologist/CIP.
·  Offshore experience is an advantage.
·  Strong reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting skills.

Location: Qatar (onshore/offshore)
Salary: QAR 12,000/- (inclusive of all allowances)
