Cybersecurity Presales Engineer

ALM Data Systems is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Presales Engineer / Solutions Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco Security to join our team in Qatar.
🔐 Key Responsibilities
• Understand customer requirements and design appropriate cybersecurity solutions
• Develop Cisco Security architectures, HLD/LLD, BOM/BOQ and technical proposals
• Conduct customer presentations, technical workshops, demos and POCs
• Support Sales teams in developing and closing enterprise & government opportunities
• Review and respond to RFPs/RFQs and prepare compliance matrices
• Work closely with Cisco, distributors and technology partners
• Provide technical consultation throughout the sales cycle
• Position Cisco solutions against competing cybersecurity technologies
🛡️ Required Technical Expertise
Strong experience in Cisco Security, including one or more of:
✅ Cisco Secure Firewall / NGFW
✅ Cisco Secure Access / SASE / SSE
✅ Cisco Umbrella
✅ Cisco Duo / Zero Trust
✅ Cisco XDR
✅ IPS / IDS / Network Security
✅ Network segmentation & secure access
✅ Cloud & endpoint security
Experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, CrowdStrike, Zscaler or Microsoft Security is an advantage.
🎯 Candidate Profile
• 4+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Presales / Solutions Engineering / Security Architecture
• Strong customer-facing and presentation skills
• Experience with enterprise/government customers
• Strong understanding of network security and cybersecurity solutions
• Experience preparing technical proposals, BOM/BOQ and solution architectures
• CCNP Security / CCIE Security preferred
• CISSP / CISM / CCSP is an advantage
• Arabic language skills are highly desirable
• Candidates currently in Qatar/GCC are preferred, with strong India-based candidates also considered
