Database Administrator

Description:

Urgent requirement for a Database Administrator in Doha on a 1-year contract renewable for a confidential project.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, manage, and troubleshoot databases.

• Implement and manage database security policies.

• Optimize database performance and capacity.

• Plan and implement database migrations, updates, and backups.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in database administration.

• Proficient in administering Microsoft SQL 2019 Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, MungoDB

• Knowledge of JSON/Binary JSON

• Knowledge of SQL, SQL scripting, batch jobs, DB replication, database optimization, and backup/recovery.
