Electrical And Elv System Draughtsman

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical and ELV System Draughtsman for a temporary role in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and preparation of technical drawings related to electrical and ELV systems, including security, fire alarm, and low-voltage schematics.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, Visio, and SketchUp.

Prepare schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams, and shop drawings for:
Electrical systems
CCTV & Access Control Systems (ACS)
Fire alarm systems
Low Voltage and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems

Support project documentation, including as-built drawings and design revisions.

Ensure compliance with design standards and project specifications.

Coordinate with engineers and project teams to interpret and translate concepts into precise drawings.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Electrical/ELV Draughtsman.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Visio, MS Office, and SketchUp.

Strong understanding of electrical and ELV design principles.

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Knowledge of project workflow from design through shop drawings to as built preparation.
