Electrical Planning Engineer

Description:

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Electrical Planning Engineer to plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor electrical maintenance activities in Oil & Gas, LNG, refinery, or petrochemical facilities.

🔹 Key Requirements
✔ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
✔ 8–12 years of experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, refinery, or petrochemical maintenance.
✔ Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance planning.
✔ Proven experience in shutdown and turnaround planning.
✔ Strong knowledge of SAP PM or other CMMS tools.
✔ Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Excel.
✔ Experience in planning preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.
✔ Knowledge of electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, motors, generators, VFDs, MCCs, and UPS.
✔ Gulf experience, preferably Qatar, is desirable.
✔ Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
📌 Develop preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance plans.
📌 Prepare weekly and monthly maintenance schedules using SAP PM or other CMMS tools.
📌 Plan maintenance activities for electrical equipment and power distribution systems.
📌 Prepare job plans, work packages, manpower requirements, and material take-offs.
📌 Support shutdown and turnaround planning using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
📌 Monitor maintenance progress, work orders, and backlogs.
📌 Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and other departments.
📌 Prepare maintenance progress reports and KPI reports.
📌 Ensure compliance with PTW, JSA, and HSE requirements.
