Electrical Shift Engineer

Description:

Qualification & Experience:
🔹 Graduate Electrical Engineer with minimum 8 years of experience in HV Substation Operations (220KV GIS down to 33KV)
🔹 3-Year Diploma holder with valid KAHRAMAA Switching Authorization
🔹 Strong experience in HV electrical systems and substation operations
🔹 Experience in electrical fault analysis with VSD (Variable Speed Drive) systems is an added advantage
🔹 UPDA Certification – Trainer Grade or above is mandatory
🔹 Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Operate and maintain HV substations and associated electrical systems
🔹 Monitor and troubleshoot electrical faults and operational issues
🔹 Ensure safe switching operations in compliance with KAHRAMAA standards
🔹 Coordinate with maintenance and operation teams for uninterrupted power supply
🔹 Follow HSE standards and operational procedures at all times
🔹 Prepare operational reports and maintain system records

Preferred Skills:
🔹 Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
🔹 Knowledge of GIS substations and HV systems
🔹 Good communication and coordination abilities
🔹 Ability to work under pressure and shift schedules
