Electrical Technician

Description:

We are hiring experienced Electrical Technicians for a leading Petrochemical / Oil & Gas company in Qatar.

Requirements:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering (3 years) OR 2-year Electrical Diploma after Higher Secondary (12th Standard).

Trade Certificate from a recognized institution.

Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Technician in Petrochemical / Oil & Gas plants.

Gulf Experience is Mandatory.

Fluent in English (Speak, Read & Write).

Job Role Includes:

Maintenance & troubleshooting of motors (up to 500 HP), UPS, inverters, transformers (up to 10 MVA).

Reading & interpreting electrical schematics, relay logic & power distribution drawings (up to 33 KV).

Installation & repair of conduits, wiring, controls (up to 480V).

Splicing cables (up to 500 MCM).

Maintenance of cathodic protection systems, cranes, doors & other equipment.

Preventive maintenance, reporting & teamwork with operations.

Strict adherence to plant safety standards.
