Finance Supervisor

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Finance Supervisor - Payroll to join our client's Finance team in Doha, Qatar. This role is ideal for candidates who are already based in Qatar and have strong expertise in payroll accounting, validation, reconciliation, and ERP systems.

Role Overview

As a Finance Supervisor - Payroll, you will:

Validate payroll documents and highlight irregularities in line with company policy. Process payroll journals and ensure proper costing in the General Ledger. Reconcile general ledger, staff ledger, duty travel payments, and corporate credit card expenses. Validate and process expense claims and duty travel advances through GEMS/ERP systems. Coordinate with HR on payroll codes, cost centres, and compliance. Compile payroll reports and support monthly closings and audits. Ensure robust internal controls and payroll process efficiency.

Criteria

Location: Candidates must be currently based in Qatar with a valid QID.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience: 5-8 years of relevant payroll accounting / finance operations experience.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ERP payroll systems (SAP, Oracle, GEMS, Workday) and advanced MS Excel.

Core Skills: Payroll validation, expense claims, reconciliations, payroll compliance, stakeholder communication, and audit support.
