Financial Counselor

Description:

United for Manpower Solutions is currently seeking a qualified Financial Counselor to join a reputable healthcare facility in Qatar. If you have experience in healthcare financial services and are currently based in Qatar, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise patients and guarantors on financial responsibilities and payment procedures

Respond to insurance inquiries, provide charge estimates, and create payment plans

Handle pre-authorizations with insurance companies and follow up accordingly

Coordinate with patients/families for payment arrangements

Assist with financial assistance and charity applications

Collect co-payments, down payments, and reconcile daily transactions

Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all patient financial activities

Communicate with clinical staff to obtain necessary insurance-related information

Support process improvement and maintain strict confidentiality

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Health Information, or a related healthcare field

3+ years of experience in a healthcare facility

At least 1 year of experience as a Financial Counselor or in a Patient Access role

Familiarity with insurance processes and patient billing systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must be currently based in Qatar
