General Accountant

Description:

We are a leading semi-government organization looking for a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team.

Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations (AP, AR, GL).
- Handle accurate and timely payroll processing and reconciliation.
- Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and lead month-end closing.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant Qatari financial regulations.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2–4 years of proven accounting experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in payroll, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- In-depth knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and accounting standards (IFRS).
- Professional proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is required.
- Must be currently residing in Qatar with a valid transferable work permit (QID).
- Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
