Gis Engineer

Description:

✅• Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
✅• Certification in GIS (GISP, Esri Certification) will be added advantage.
✅• 8+ years of working experience with ESRI GIS software packages
✅• Prior experience working on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
✅• Experience with GIS programming languages and APIs (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or C++)
✅• Experience in design & create accurate database, geodatabases and models
✅• Experience in handling remote sensing data, GPS data, and other geospatial datasets.

Requirements:
✅• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
✅• 3+ years of experience with GIS softwares (ArcGIS), AutoCAD and BIM tools (Revit and Navisworks).
✅• Certification in GIS (GISP, Esri Certification) will be added advantage.
✅• Prior experience working on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
✅• Familiarity with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Oracle Spatial) and 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp,
Rhino).
✅• Strong understanding of BIM principles and experience integrating GIS, CAD and BIM data.
✅• Knowledge of spatial and infrastructure design principles.
✅• Knowledge of Open GIS standards and understanding of OpenBIM approach and principles.
