Hse Specialist

Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced HSE Specialist to support HSE governance, compliance, risk management, and safety performance across complex construction and mission-critical projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with clients, Project Management Consultants (PMC), supervision consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
▪️ Monitor implementation of HSE standards across construction sites
▪️ Act as the primary HSE liaison between clients, contractors, consultants, end users, and authorities
▪️ Review project-specific HSE, emergency response, and fire safety plans
▪️ Conduct HSE audits, inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews
▪️ Monitor contractor/consultant HSE performance, KPIs/OKRs, and corrective actions
▪️ Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive actions
▪️ Manage contractor HSE evaluation, onboarding, training, and performance monitoring
▪️ Promote a proactive and zero-tolerance safety culture

Mandatory Requirements:
✅ 12+ years of HSE management experience
✅ Strong experience within Data Centers, Energy, Power Plants, High-Rise Buildings, Airports, Operational Shopping Malls, or other Mission-Critical Facilities
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HSE, or a related field
✅ Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations, OSHA, HSE UK, ISO standards, and construction safety practices
✅ NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
✅ ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent
✅ Professional membership with a recognized Health & Safety institute
✅ Strong expertise in contractor HSE management, audits, inspections, incident investigation, and risk management
