Hvac Mechanical Technician

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanical Technician to carry out installation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems and associated mechanical equipment.
The successful candidate should have strong hands-on experience with commercial/building HVAC systems and be capable of diagnosing faults and maintaining equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems and equipment.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain AHUs, FCUs, chillers, package units, split AC units, ventilation systems, and associated equipment.
Diagnose mechanical faults and identify defective components requiring repair or replacement.
Carry out maintenance of pumps, valves, belts, bearings, motors, filters, and related HVAC mechanical components.
Check HVAC equipment for abnormal noise, vibration, leakage, temperature, and operational issues.
Perform routine inspection and servicing according to preventive maintenance schedules.
Assist with HVAC equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and replacement activities.
Carry out cleaning and maintenance of filters, coils, drain lines, blowers, and other HVAC components.
Support chilled-water system maintenance, including pumps, valves, strainers, and piping.
Respond promptly to HVAC breakdowns and service requests.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and correctly.
Read and understand HVAC drawings, equipment manuals, and technical instructions.
Coordinate with Engineers, Supervisors, BMS Technicians, Electricians, and other maintenance personnel.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment checklists.
Ensure all activities comply with company HSE requirements and safe working procedures.
Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are kept in good condition.
Qualifications & Requirements
ITI, Technical Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
