Instrumentation Technician

Requirements:
Diploma or Industrial Trade Certificate in Instrumentation
Degree/Diploma in Electronic Engineering (Preferred)
Basic Computer skills
2 yrs GCC experience in similar role

Job Description:
*Repairing, diagnosing and monitoring mechanical and electrical instrument components
*Installing instruments and equipment such as a speedometer, oil pressure gauge, coolant pressure gauge and battery charging indicators
*Calibrate instruments during installation as well as existing instruments by testing an instrument by subjecting it to known values
*Operate diagnostics equipment to determine the components causing the instrumental faults
*Identify the cause of an issue after performing diagnostics on an instrument and commence repairs
*Testing and safety verification of instruments involved in high-risk products and processes
*Conduct simulation testing, to observe the instrument's performance in varying situations
*Assist in improving efficiencies throughout the operations
*Carry out preventive maintenance, such as instrument calibration
*Carry out routine instrument checks for compliance and accurate testing results
