Instrumentation Technician

Description:

Responsibilities:
· Perform operation, preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of field instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level).
· Calibrate, test, loop check, and verify instrument functionality.
· Troubleshoot and rectify instrument faults.
· Execute tubing, fitting, minor modifications, and instrument replacements.
· Perform cable termination, glanding, continuity checks, and basic wiring.
· Support PLC, SCADA, and monitoring systems.
· Interpret technical documents: P&IDs, loop diagrams, datasheets, layouts, wiring diagrams, and SLDs.
· Ensure strict compliance with PTW, LOTO, Electrical Safety Rules, and HSE procedures.
· Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and checklists.

Required Skills & Experience:
· Proven experience as an Instrumentation Technician in an industrial setting.
· Strong practical knowledge of field instruments and calibration.
· Ability to read and apply complex technical diagrams and documentation.
· Understanding of safety procedures (PTW, LOTO, HSE) is mandatory.
· Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems is an advantage.
