Description:
Maintain and oversee our exchange company’s IT infrastructure. You will manage core systems, ensure secure and reliable network operations, and enforce compliance with regulatory cybersecurity standards.
🔎 Key Responsibilities
✅IT Infrastructure & System Support
- Monitor and maintain servers, firewalls, routers, and networks.
- Ensure performance and uptime of critical applications (e.g. Remittance, FX platforms).
- Handle software updates, patches, backups.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide support for user-end devices (desktops, laptops, POS, printers).
✅Security & Compliance
- Implement cybersecurity measures aligned with QCB Circulars and ISO 27001 standards.
- Administer firewalls, VPNs, antivirus, VMware, switches, load balancers, IDS/IPS.
- Conduct system audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Monitor access and user activity logs.
- Enforce data privacy and protection policies.
✅User Management & Help Desk
- Manage access permissions across systems, networks, and email.
- Provide technical support/training to users.
- Maintain IT asset and license inventory.
- Document all procedures and policies.
✅Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Manage daily backups and test disaster recovery plans.
- Respond swiftly to failures or security incidents.
✅Vendor Coordination & Specialized Software Support
- Liaise with vendors for maintenance and system upgrades.
- Deploy and support systems including:
o AML platforms
o SWIFT and remittance software
o Currency rate APIs and trading platforms
🧑💻 Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of IT administration experience, preferably in financial/exchange environments.
- Strong expertise in:
o Windows Server and Active Directory
o Networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN)
o Cybersecurity (TLS 1.2, firewall and endpoint defense)
o Backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and on-call for emergencies
