It Security Governance Officer

Are you experienced in cybersecurity governance, compliance frameworks, and risk management?

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Governance Officer to establish and enforce enterprise-level information security frameworks in Qatar.

 What You’ll Be Responsible For:

✔ Develop and implement information security policies & standards
✔ Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations & data protection laws
✔ Align IT governance with ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT frameworks
✔ Conduct security risk assessments & support risk treatment plans
✔ Coordinate internal & external audits
✔ Monitor compliance controls & remediation actions
✔ Review third-party vendor security compliance
✔ Prepare governance dashboards & compliance reports
✔ Support incident governance & post-incident reviews


 What We’re Looking For:

✅ 4–7+ years of experience in IT security governance or compliance
✅ Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 / NIST / COBIT frameworks
✅ Experience in risk management & audit coordination
✅ Strong policy-writing & documentation skills
✅ Ability to communicate security risks to senior stakeholders
✅ Experience working with government or regulated environments preferred
