Key Responsibilities
Take-offs & Quantities: Prepare accurate material take-offs from architectural drawings, joinery details, and tender documents.
Cost Estimation: Calculate precise costs for bespoke joinery items, built-in furniture, wall paneling, doors, and specialized finishes (including MDF, veneers, solid wood, and fire-rated components).
Supplier & Subcontractor Coordination: Source competitive pricing for raw materials, hardware, and specialized out-sourced processes.
BOQ & Tender Preparation: Compile comprehensive pricing structures, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) formatting, and formal tender submissions.
Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving alternatives without compromising design intent or quality standards.
Variation Evaluation: Assist the commercial team in assessing cost impacts for design variations and change orders.
