Lead Qc Engineer

KEY REQUIREMENTS
✔️ 12–15 years of relevant experience in Welding QC / Quality Control
✔️ Strong experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery projects
✔️ Experience in a Lead QC Engineer – Welding / Welding QC Engineer position
✔️ CSWIP 3.2.2 certification is mandatory
✔️ Knowledge/certification in ISO / IWE preferred
✔️ Strong knowledge of Welding Inspection, WPS, PQR and Welder Qualification
✔️ Experience in reviewing welding procedures and inspection documentation
✔️ Knowledge of NDT, weld inspection, material traceability and welding quality standards
✔️ Experience in handling NCRs, quality audits and corrective actions
✔️ Strong coordination skills with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and supervise Welding QC activities on the project
• Review and monitor WPS, PQR and Welder Qualification Records
• Ensure welding activities comply with approved procedures and project specifications
• Coordinate NDT and inspection activities
• Monitor weld quality, documentation and material traceability
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Review and close NCRs and quality observations
• Coordinate with client/consultant representatives on welding and quality matters
• Guide QC Inspectors and welding inspection teams
