Lifting / Rigging Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Lifting / Rigging Engineer to support Oil & Gas projects with strong expertise in planning, analysis, and supervision of lifting operations. The role involves ensuring safe execution in full compliance with HSE, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review lifting & rigging plans, method statements, and risk assessments
Perform lifting studies, load calculations, and crane capacity checks
Select, verify, and ensure certification compliance of lifting equipment
Provide on-site support for critical and complex lifting operations
Coordinate with Construction, HSE, and Project teams
Prepare drawings and technical documents for client / authority approval

✅ Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
10+ years of experience in Lifting & Rigging (Oil & Gas / Heavy Industry)
Strong knowledge of QatarEnergy standards and RLIC regulations
Experience in Oil & Gas brownfield projects
Proficient in AutoCAD and lifting analysis tools
Recognized Lifting / Rigging certifications preferred
