Key Responsibilities

✔ Own and administer the project-wide LOTO / Isolation Management Programme
✔ Develop, review, and maintain Equipment Isolation Certificates (EICs) and energy isolation procedures
✔ Ensure full compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147, QatarEnergy SHES standards, and IEC/ISO isolation requirements
✔ Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Construction teams to ensure safe isolation of all energy sources (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, chemical)
✔ Lead LOTO audits, inspections, and verification walks across all active workfronts
✔ Maintain the isolation register and ensure accurate records of all active isolations
✔ Deliver LOTO training, awareness campaigns, and competency assessments for project personnel
✔ Interface with the Permit to Work (PTW) system to ensure alignment between isolations and active permits
✔ Investigate and report LOTO-related near misses, incidents, and non-conformances
✔ Support pre-commissioning and commissioning isolation planning activities

✅ Minimum Requirements

🎓 Qualifications:
• Postgraduate Engineering Diploma (internationally recognised) — OR
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) — OR
• Postgraduate Degree (MEng / MSc) in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• All qualifications must be internationally accredited

⏳ Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in LOTO / Isolation Management
• Strong background in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, or EPC construction environments
• Proven experience managing complex multi-discipline isolations on large-scale projects
• Middle East / Qatar project experience is highly advantageous
