Mechanical & Structural Supervisor

 

Description:

Minimum Qualification:

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification

- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in oil & gas EPC/ EPIC projects, with at least 5 years in a lead supervisory role.

Technical Skills/Job Responsability:

- Lead and supervise all mechanical Static & Rotataing), piping (CS,SS,LTCS & GRE), and structural construction activities in accordance with project specifications, AFC drawings, and international codes/ standards (ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, etc.)

- Piping Erection: Supervise fit-up, alignment, welding, hydrotesting, reinstatement, and final box-up of critical piping.

- Mechanical Equipment Installation: Supervise anchor bolt setting, equipment alignment (laser/ optical), grouting, and hook-up/ erection of rotating (Compressor, Turbines, pumps)/ static equipment (Exchangers, Storage tanks, Vessels).

- Structural Steel Erection - Oversee fabrication, lifting, positioning, alignment, and bolting/ welding of structural members.

- Experience in reviewing engineering drawings (PID,GAD, ISO etc), method statements, ITPs, and construction procedures.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, especially in handling large multi-discipline erection crews.

- Oversee fabrication, welding, hydrotesting, reinstatement, and mechanical completion activities.

- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.

- Support commissioning and start-up activities as required.

- Monitor and control subcontractor and direct workforce performance to meet schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.

- Allocate manpower (Pipe/Structural fitters, fabricators welders, riggers, helpers, etc.) to critical activities to maximize.
