Planning Technician

Description:

We are looking for a skilled Planning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will support maintenance operations by planning and scheduling routine and shutdown maintenance work using SAP, Primavera, and MS Project to ensure maximum reliability of refinery assets.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities Include:
Receive, analyze, and process maintenance requests and work orders
Develop weekly and 8-week lookahead maintenance schedules
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation)
Handle backlog, KPIs, and unplanned shutdown scheduling
Operate CMMS (SAP) and project planning tools like Primavera & MS Project
Liaise with operations & maintenance teams to ensure job readiness and execution

✅ Requirements:
Secondary education with formal training in CMMS and planning software
Minimum 7 years’ experience in maintenance planning (refinery, oil & gas, petrochemical)
Hands-on with routine maintenance, shutdown/turnaround planning, and KPI reporting
Proficiency in SAP, Primavera, and MS Project
Strong communication skills in English
