Qa/qc E&i Inspector

Description:

We're seeking a dedicated QA/QC E&I Inspector with a strong background in inspection, testing and quality control of electrical, instrumentation and telecom systems. The ideal candidate will ensure project compliance with client specifications, regulatory codes and quality standards in major EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:
-Ensure all E&I inspection activities are conducted by project specifications, ITPs, QCPs and customer requirements.
-Review vendor documents including drawings, design calculations and technical clarifications.
-Monitor installation and conformance of hazardous area equipment per IEC standards and project specs.
-Participate in material inspections (MAR, MRV, IRN) and oversee equipment preservation.
-Prepare and follow up on NCRs, DSRs and verify corrective actions for non-conformances.
-Monitor testing activities (FAT, SAT), cathodic protection, telecom systems and ensure correct shift handovers.
-Inspect installation of cable trenches, electrical, instrumentation and telecom/FOC cable.
-Participate in dossier preparation (preliminary, final and mechanical completions) for E&I and telecom systems.
-Coordinate with engineering departments, subcontractors and QC teams to resolve technical issues.
-Review and verify inspection test packages (ITPs/QCRs) before system handover.
-Maintain quality records and documentation in line with company and client standards.
-Promote proactive safety and quality culture and report any unsafe practices immediately.

Required Expertise:
-Strong E&I QA/QC background in Oil & Gas EPC environments.
-Hands-on experience in inspections of electrical, instrumentation, telecom, and cathodic protection systems.
-Skilled in FAT, SAT, equipment preservation, trench inspections, and test documentation.
-Familiarity with international standards and hazardous area compliance (IEC, EX).
-Proven ability to handle quality documentation, NCRs, punch lists, and final handovers.
-Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
