Qa/qc Manager

Description:

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead the QA/QC function for major expansion projects. The successful candidate must have strong leadership experience and hands-on QA/QC experience across the full EPCC project lifecycle, from engineering and procurement through construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
Lead QA/QC activities across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
Manage QA/QC teams, inspectors, contractors, subcontractors and vendors.
Ensure compliance with project quality requirements, EPCC contract requirements, quality plans, ITPs and procedures.
Oversee audits, inspections, RFIs, NCRs, deviations, concessions and corrective actions.
Manage vendor and fabrication quality inspections and follow up on quality issues.
Monitor construction quality and lead mechanical completion, punch-list closure and quality readiness for commissioning.
Identify and manage quality risks and support project reporting, lessons learned and continuous improvement.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field.
Professional certification is required.
Minimum 10 years of relevant QA/QC experience in similar major expansion projects.
Minimum 5 years in a QA/QC leadership role.
Strong experience managing QA/QC activities across EPCC projects.
Hands-on experience with ITPs, RFIs, inspections, audits, NCRs, deviations, concessions and corrective actions.
Experience working directly with EPCC contractors, subcontractors and vendors.
Strong construction quality and mechanical completion experience.
Ability to review technical quality issues, identify risks and provide clear direction to project teams and contractors.
Strong reporting and communication skills, with the ability to support senior project management.
