Senior Project Engineer

Description:

An experienced Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical) is required for the RLTO onshore/offshore Oil & Gas development in Ras Laffan, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical project engineering, execution, and technical coordination across EPC project lifecycle phases.

Oversee site construction, installation, piping systems, and static/rotating mechanical equipment integration.

Coordinate cross-functional activities spanning engineering design, procurement support, site installation, and commissioning.

Ensure all mechanical works strictly comply with ASME, API, and international oil and gas codes.

Resolve technical queries, manage multidisciplinary interfaces, and maintain project progress schedules.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience Level: Minimum 12+ years of dedicated experience in mechanical project engineering within Oil & Gas, LNG, or major EPC environments.

Standards Expertise: Thorough working knowledge of ASME, API, and related international industrial standards.

Key Technical Domains: Hands-on experience in mechanical equipment installation, piping fabrication, site execution, and pre-commissioning/commissioning activities.

Client & Location Preferences: Previous experience with QatarEnergy or QatarEnergy LNG projects is highly preferred; prior Ras Laffan site exposure is a distinct advantage.
