Senior Technical & Design Manager

We are seeking an accomplished leader to join our team in Doha as the Senior Technical and Design Manager.

About the Role:
You will be the top technical authority, responsible for leading all design, engineering, and technical functions. You will drive innovation, quality, and performance from concept through delivery, aligning technical strategy with our core business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
· Define and implement the company's technical and design strategy.
· Lead, oversee, and mentor multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, and consultants.
· Act as the primary technical decision-maker, reviewing and approving all design concepts, specifications, and technical submissions.
· Ensure full compliance with international standards, codes, and regulations.
· Manage coordination between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
· Drive value engineering, innovation, and continuous improvement.
· Identify and mitigate technical risks across all project phases.
· Support commercial and project teams with critical technical expertise.

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
· 15+ years of progressive experience in technical and design leadership roles.
· Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale projects from start to finish.
· Strong background in design management, engineering coordination, and technical governance.
· Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
· Commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, quality, and performance.
· Experience in international or multicultural work environments is a significant advantage.
